Another regular international medallist as well as the winner of the Best Brandy trophy at the International Spirits Challenge in 2010. This proud potstill is a reflection of the meticulous attention to quality paid by founder Jan van Ryn, who set the benchmark for excellence in South African brandies. It shows an intensity of fruit characters with a twist of citrus and a delectable trace of chocolate. Rich in colour and flavour, its honeyed-citrus aromas unfurl to reveal a full palate laced with sweet oak spices. A creamy texture ends in a lingering but satisfyingly clean finish.
Tasting Notes: Aged in small French oak barrels, this remarkable brandy is aromatic with fragrant notes of cigar box, orange peel and balanced oak. Dark chocolate laced with warm spice, integrated oak and fruit create a creamy and complex finish.
Serving Suggestion: Drink neat, with ice or a dash of water.
